Gardening is another passion, inherited from my family. I feed off this passed-on interest, but with a non-traditional and curious approach.
I bring the wild and the designed into contact. I want to protect and encourage the natural, but also feed my creative designing ambitions.
I love plants, and garden design aesthetics.
There are lots of influences, but at heart I think it’s English, in being asymmetrical, naturalistic, with the romance of surprises as you wonder down the garden paths.
Amongst the the wild and self-seeded, you will find over 400 varieties of cultivated plants.
I also have a veg garden with ambitions of permaculture and masses of perennial produce, and most successfully a fairly good selection of herbs.
And if all of this is of no interest, there’s hammocks, loungers, benches, grass to lie on, and pastoral views!
